I don't really want to pile on, but BoP is right. You clearly didn't have your thinking cap on when you wrote that eRe4s3r, but it happens to the best of us occasionally.
Meh, as someone who lived in the GDR I can assure you I have occasionally my thinking cap on, it's just in "very cynical" mode at this point. Mind you, In wasn't old enough before the unification, but if I had been I would have left the GDR ASAP. You live in a horrible nightmare state (not talking about the social elements) you have options and saying they are "hard" and "uprooting" and "woe me" isn't helping you. If you (or rather, a viable majority) don't/doesn't want to leave your comfort zone for change then you don't get change ever.
Thankfully in the GDR, people voted against the Stasi with their feet. Had they not done that unification might never have happened. Or worse, happened the other way around.
The only way you impact change is by doing
something that isn't just loudly complaining. If you complained loudly in the GDR you got STASI pwned (FYI)
I still think they should just leave. Get off their asses and MOVE, physically, out of Texas, make it a big media event and everything "Texas women walking out of Texas" etc. .. it'd be in the news for at least 3 days

And for all I care then can do that temporarily. Nobody is asking them to uproot their entire existence. But if they don't do something above twitter feuds and anti-social media complaining they will change nothing about that absurd law.
