this is why ive been waiting and moreover i detest the idea of "early access" in general (which is still as it was in the beginning of it)... and really, many of the nasty things people thought would come to pass due to 'early access' have come about... which is unfortunate but perhaps ultimately inevitable given the sheer amount of content at various levels of completion and the lack of indie devs resources
however, i typically still dont play them... i wait until its finished and even then probably some time after that for more patches, updates, DLC and all that shit
Witcher 3 was a huge high but then CP2077 was a huge low - and that seems to typify how its been a rollercoaster for the industry as a whole, as far as im concerned... you can go into much more detail about it but current trends are not inspiring to me - in the sense of an indie market that has become "industrialized" by their need for money in a tight turn-around type cycle or perhaps selling whatever as an outright fraud or joke or anything in-between
