This is where they need an editor to allow people go write conversations - possible quests - for their NPCs. That's something I'd love to see as a standard feature in survival games. I'd love my thralls to be able to have limited conversations and actions in Conan Exiles and that sort of thing. Come home and have your butler bring you a drink and welcome you home, etc.

i was playing this the other day, which is really the second time i started, before stopping a few hours in - basically because ive been waiting for them to finish it up, but it seems like that may not happen in a traditional way

its really changed significantly and also has so much stuff that it shows definite signs of bloat and legacy things as well as vestigial mechanics, etc

but clearly the game is a labor of love, which is something that is so rare these days - even most indie games are just a stepping-stone to something else and thus rarely more than decent or just fluff

it made it so clear how unique this phenomena is - its not going to be something that happens very often - and anyone thinking CDPR would attempt anything like this with CP2077 is smoking way too much crack

Hello Games, fantasticly determined devs.
I'm sure the success of their efforts, must have incentivated some others devs to persevere and achieve better games.

And, Hattori Hanzō, crack or not, I have faith in CDPR, I think they also love their creatures

Even my usual cynical self has to admit here, this is top class post release support. Actually I know of no game that turned around this much.

Just need a way to modify/customize ships and I'd be a happy camper. Hopefully they have fixed how the different sets can or can't be built together.

Somewhere, kxmode is still pissed off about this game.

this is why ive been waiting and moreover i detest the idea of "early access" in general (which is still as it was in the beginning of it)... and really, many of the nasty things people thought would come to pass due to 'early access' have come about... which is unfortunate but perhaps ultimately inevitable given the sheer amount of content at various levels of completion and the lack of indie devs resources

however, i typically still dont play them... i wait until its finished and even then probably some time after that for more patches, updates, DLC and all that shit

Witcher 3 was a huge high but then CP2077 was a huge low - and that seems to typify how its been a rollercoaster for the industry as a whole, as far as im concerned... you can go into much more detail about it but current trends are not inspiring to me - in the sense of an indie market that has become "industrialized" by their need for money in a tight turn-around type cycle or perhaps selling whatever as an outright fraud or joke or anything in-between

Wow the Expedition for this is even out now. Fantastic. I just moved ot PC from PS4 so expedition is a good place to start over since it gives you lots of great rewards quickly and generously.
