Hey @everyone,
We are extremely pleased to announce that @Blumster, @Nightmarea, @rfuzzo and I will be joining CDPR under my and @Nightmarea's company (https://yigsoft.dev/). We will be working on various projects related to the Cyberpunk 2077 backend and the game's modding support
We are really excited for this and we really hope we can help to bring Cyberpunk 2077 to the next level!

In fairness CDPR had a pretty good reputation on the whole. Give the scope of their games one could rightfully assume there were going to be a good deal of bugs and issues at launch. Not all the time in the world in QA would ever have them perfect to go out of the gate. They dropped the ball big time with this one however.

Here’s a blue’ser that waited all night for a card at a Best Buy last week.Dev wrote on Sep 1, 2021, 07:25:Gadzooks wrote on Aug 31, 2021, 14:58:There are ways to get them. Like getting in line at evga (It will take a while though). Or Best Buy has had two recent things in last few months where they ship a chunk to every store and sell as MSRP on a certain day they announce. You do have to camp out overnight to get those, but if you want it enough...
Ive had the money to upgrade to a 3080 since it was launched, (900ish), but well, its not like you can find them, and when you do, they are a LOT more than just 900.
There's also a twitch channel that runs some stuff to check stock on pretty much all online retailers, so you can try jumping on that.VaranDragon wrote on Sep 1, 2021, 02:35:They would have never done that because they were trying to avoid spoilers. Probably they should have though. Or had some rounds of closed beta testing with outside people.
CP2077 is a great game. Unfortunately it was released unfinished. If it was released to early access first, all of these arguments about how "shitty" and "broken" it was would be moot.
Best Buy to a small % of stores and now it seems you need to be in like around 12 hours early, we'll have to see how long it is next time.

Pre-ordering games just incentivizes companies to release shitty products.
Then people are outraged when the game is shitty.
Then they line up to pre-order the next shitty game.

People seem to have forgotten the absolute shitshow that was The Witcher 3 at release, and W2 at release wasn't that much better either.
Both had to get patched heavily to bring them to their current status.
I kinda saw it coming... It has become a habit for them it seems.

This Exactly! Pet peev of mine. In the last two years, the only game I've played that actually felt finished on release was Last of Us 2. I remember Quake 2 running as smooth as butter way back when, but lately, shooters are loosing my interest due to jittering and frame hitching.

Yeah, they have had a home in Discord channel, Cyberpunk 2077 Modding Community. (Someone started a channel with the exact same name but left off 'Community' but it's not the same.)
There are so many Reactions to the post, the system can't handle it anymore and borks out.
