Dear Ant, you are mistaken, the monthly ESO plus is absolutely optional !
Like me, you can buy the game, and play it forever never paying a cent more.
You can buy things at certain fan shops in various cities, that accept only game money (not real), search on google, I bought various super duper legendary items with game money exclusively.
The ESO plus gives access to certain provinces.
But as I, you can just buy them (bought a couple of them on Steam sales).
Others I finished on free play weekends (don't know it they will do that again).
And I never bought one single microtransaction.
But even the basic ESO alone is a total steal with so much content, months worthy.
WannaLogAlready wrote on Aug 31, 2021, 13:26:ESO was impressive. It reminded me of classic WoW. Both were addicting. No time to play and don't want to pay their subscriptions when I don't play much!Ant wrote on Aug 30, 2021, 10:42:I Pc game since 1994.WannaLogAlready wrote on Aug 30, 2021, 08:07:Also, Elder Scroll Online is still on sale since its addicting free trial just ended. I am tempted to get it, but no time to play with its required subscription.Ant wrote on Aug 30, 2021, 00:19:Thanks for those 2 magic words, Ant, just got itShakaUVM wrote on Aug 30, 2021, 00:17:Because it was very cheap and its free weekend just ended. :O
I am confused why anyone is buying Battlefield V![]()
90% off, offline SP campaign +extras, 9 hrs average, up to 28 hrs if played leisurely, nice.

No other game has given me so much high quality content as ESO, none.
Took me 8 month of obsessive roleplaying, many hours every day, to finish it.
And I didn't go to Cyrodil !.
My best buy ever !

Yeah, thanks for pointing that out. I mean if everyone likes it, it must be fucking awesome! /s
What do you wan't to bet that 90% of those reviewers play the game for about 5-10h and then never fire it up again.

Wow, Pathfinder 2 isn't even on here? Hopefully everybody already bought that weeks or months ago, on Kickstarter, GoG or Steam.![]()
I finally finished Pathfinder: Kingmaker last night, after putting it off for months. The game is amazing right up until the House at the End of Time, then stunlock spam enemies show up. But they are beatable, just have to prep. I'm really looking forward to the sequel, although I guess they dramatically changed the Kingdom/world map management portion, hopefully it's for the better.
KS here, and I only very shortly (probably too much already played it and think it is the BEST CRPG the past decade already) so make of that what you willI only played into act 2 - the siege. And everything until then was way better than anything Kingmaker ever had. The game feels fundamentally better, looks awesome and even sounds awesome. And that was months ago.
You already played it? Alpha or Beta I guess? I did a cheap tier Kickstarter, and if I had beta access I did not use it. Excellent to hear that you liked it though; I'm looking forward to getting my KS key and using it in GoG in a few days.
I'm just hoping they learned a lot from P:K and have a far less buggy launch!![]()

Sure, it's not too deep and doesn't have a compelling story or anything, but as long as you're enjoying your time, that's what matters, right?Dev wrote on Aug 30, 2021, 09:34:VaranDragon wrote on Aug 30, 2021, 08:54:Rated very positive 85% on steam, so it apparently isn't that big of a turd.
Aliens Fireteam is no 2. on the list? Just goes to show that you can slap the Aliens licence on any old turd, and people will lap it up and ask for more.
I will note two things that stood out in browsing reviews, first is the game lacks voice communication and almost any way to communicate, even in their official discord they have voice channels disabled. Speaking of their official discord, second is that the mods sound ban happy.
