Personally I think he's the same, pissed off asshole in every movie. Even when he's not an asshole character. I quit that new Tom Clancy movie 20 minutes in because some actors... I just cannot stand anymore. He's one of those few.

The Black Panther actor wasn't a diamond either. I realized only during my binge session period that the guy died of lung cancer. That is simply terrible and gave the experience of watching the movie a morbid feel.

I take it that, based upon all the votes so far on worst marvel movie, nobody here either remembers... or was even forced to sit through Captain Marvel. I would gladly take Iron Man 3 or Thor 2 any day as those had a few moments that were worth watching again over that movie. Forgettable story, contrived acting, the list goes on.

You're not wrong. I put Captain Marvel at the same level as Black Panther. It's a shame because Michael B. Jordan and Brie Larson are excellent actors i really like in other things.

For me, the worst are (in no order, and not counting Hulk, which I've never seen):

1) Thor 2. Ok, this one is in order. They took the worst part of Thor, the girlfriend's sidekick, and gave her a storyline and a sidekick of her own.

2) Thor. Thor was also pretty bad. It felt like such a small film. It was expensive, but the money was not on the screen (though dyed eyebrows were)

3) Iron Man 2. Nothing good about this movie. And it was the first that had some form of technology that made me roll my eyes. The entire Ironman suit, including all the servos, can fold into a normal looking briefcase that a normal man can carry? I know I'm nitpicking, but that was just dumb.

Pretty much all the others are, at worst, fine, but those 3 I never want to watch again.

On the just ok front:

Iron Man 3: Tony doing a spy mission without his suit felt a bit stupid - he has no training there. His powers are that he is smart and built a nearly indestructible suit. Having him do normal soldiering is kind of lame. But I liked the PTSD angle.

Captain Marvel: I feel this would have been better with better casting. I have nothing against Bree Larson, but she just didn't sell herself in the action scenes to me. She runs more stangely than Tom Cruise. She never seemed comfortable in any scene that she had to be imposing.

Black Panther: Less fun than it should have been, with some really pathetic CGI. The supporting cast stole this for me. The actual character of Black Panther is kind of dull. However, his sister and his rival were really perfectly cast, and Michael B Jordan can do absolutely no wrong.

Doctor Strange: Really just felt like an off-brand Iron Man. Plus, the villain was a great actor given nothing to do other than look cool

I liked those shapeshifters. And the flerken cat thing. That redeemed Cpt. Marvel. The actress is a bit too much of an annoying activist for my liking, which I found hard to unsee during the movie, but other than that she was good and has a good face.

I binged the entire MCU up til the horrible sitcom shit that's Wanda Vision last month. I think all the Iron Man movies were good. Thor 2 is good due to Loki and after the first absolutely abysmal 20 to 30 minutes. Black Panther is the worst by far. No real thread and a horribly bad antagonist.

I know Wanda Vision gets good at some point. But I couldn't get past the sitcom episodes. When I started with episode one, I expected the sitcom stuff to be a joke -- a 10 minutes intro at most. During that first episode I started skipping scenes at some point only to realize the entire episode is sitcom and SO IS THE SECOND EPISODE!? I was baffled by that realization and quit, for now. I haven't looked into this yet but let me guess: Wanda is in some sort of limbo mind-world because she couldn't handle Vision's death. Of maybe that neighbor has something to do with it. Marvel won't introduce such a famous actress just to be a silly neighbor...
Gah.. I want to see Winter Soldier & The Falcon so I guess I'll have to force my way through it someday soon...

Captain Marvel is firmly middle of the pack for me, definitely not making it into any of my lists of best or worst. Though it does have one of my favourite MCU performances in Ben Mendelsohn's Talos.

The redeeming factor for Thor 2... was obviously all the scenes with Loki (not much... but still). With Iron Man 3, the action scenes (the Iron Legion was probably my favorite moment). Captain Marvel, on the other hand, had nothing for me... completely forgettable & unremarkable.

The second Thor movie is not good, Iron Man 3 didn't bother me as much as it seems to have bothered others. But you know what? They both had better stories than Alita: Battle Angel.

It's funny that everyone bags on Iron Man 2, but I thought it was a lot of fun. 3 was terrible IMO.

Second Thor movie is the only one I haven't seen. Every time I go to watch it, I decide to watch Ragnarok instead.

Black Panther was pretty mediocre IMO. Maybe I was suffering from Marvel burnout but I liked the Spider-Man movie that came out around the same very much, so I'm thinking maybe it just wasn't that good.

Oh Thor 2 is very very close behind! But Thor 2 was also the movie that gave Loki some viewer love, which was among the more important things in MCU to develop. Black Panther however... We went from fighting back monsters from space to chasing smugglers, with a bunch of people I never knew nor cared about. Not as bad as the Nathalie Portman crew, granted.

Agreed, the sale price is definitely worth it just for the story campaign, which is about as well done as you can expect from the Tomb Raider reboot people. It's just too bad they had to put so much effort into all the "long-term player engagement" crap rather than more content like that... Much like with EA's Anthem, it shows you how spectacularly this sort of cart-before-horse situation can fail when people just. aren't. interested. in the endless grind you present to them.
