I really wanted Diablo 2 Remastered, but after seeing all this press about Activision Blizzard, not to mention remembering how incredibly bad Diablo 3 is (terribly easy and mindless gameplay, terrible story, terrible art and music direction, etc.) I'm over it. Moving on. Battlefield 2042 and Elden Ring are coming, no interest in Blizzard anymore, my most beloved game company from the 90s is dead.

Your definition of "minor" is questionable Cutter. At the very least.

Sounds like they haven't been cancelled yet you walking catch phrase and the only thing that would cancel them is investigation/courts. So that's known as justice and if they are innocent or never charged personally so be it.

You don't see the problem inherent in trying to destroy one for a minor error in judgement from years or decades past? Wow! You'd be the perfect commandant for the gulags you people want to build. No matter how minor or old the transgression crucify them all, right?

There are a LOT of talented women working on Diablo IV - we've got to meet some of them through Blizzcon and Quarterly updates. My opinion doesn't matter, theirs's will. Or at least, should.

I'm surprised no one is bringing up the other horrible things Blizzard has done that lend credence to these claims.

One of the creepier ones was was they did to the Hong Kong player who won the big international e-sports championship after it was found out that he happened to have once mentioned support for the democracy movement there. Blizzard disqualified him and took back his winnings and also banned him. They didn't want Chinese government offended.

The list goes on from there.

I haven't bought or played a Blizzard title in years. No plans on changing that.

You really might want to do some research about what you said and correct most of what you typed.

You don't. A lot of people don't. I'd say most people.

Agreed, But sadly no one in the west seems to really care about that.

Kotaku's Cosby Suite story is also a bit disingenuous, They're clearly trying to imply that they were fans of "previously convicted rapist Bill Cosby" because of the drugging and raping and that they had created some kind of Cosby rape room. But he had not been previously convicted at all, This was over a year before that came out and Kotaku intentionally left that out of the story.

Also wanted to cancel the McCree character because a developer who shares his name made a single dirty joke in a private conversation 8 years ago seems too much. Did the guy actually sexually harass anyone? Is there a man or woman alive who has never made dirty jokes in private?

After a massive protest against it and enough bad publicity of their horrible handling of things, Blizzard kept him banned for "only" half a year and gave him his winning back.

The list goes on from there.
