Out of the Blue

Happy 20th birthday to Max Payne, as the third-person shooter first rolled out on July 23, 2001. Developer Remedy offers this video to mark the occasion. To celebrate we're now proudly displaying the Max Payne logo that first appeared here in June of 2001. Thanks Walter "2" Costinak for his epic work on the original logo, and thank you to Scott for adapting it to our current format.

Oh Blue! You had me all excited there for a minute. I thought we were getting a UFO TV Series reboot!

A lot more humans than bears on this planet, proportionally we can absorb such losses much better.

Max Payne 3 was an odd sequel. I think they should've just started a new franchise with that one as it had it's own style. Still a good game though.

Happy birthday Max. Smiley

The Grizzly Bear Had Hunted Him For Days. He Was Tired And Almost Out Of Ammo. Then...A Miracle

Oh. So a predictable outcome. I was hoping the bear just wanted a friend and they became best buddies.

Dart gun COVID shots. Too funny. 😂

A lot of people I have talked to get whacked the day after their second Pfizer shot for about 24 hours. I know I did. So, if you don't post tomorrow, we'll know why.

Good on you for getting it done. I felt crappy for a day or so after getting my Pfizer shots. But it's nice having the peace of mind.

We haven't breached this subject in a while. For me the first shot gave me a fairly sore deltoid for about a day. Second was nothing, thirty minutes afterward I couldn't tell I had gotten an injection and had no other side effects. (Moderna)

Aww I really liked MP3. There were some weird stylistic choices that I wasn't too fond of, but I thought it was fitting conclusion to Max's story. I liked the setting and was glad they tried something a little different than the first two games. MP2 is still the best though. One of my favorite games of all time.

Blueprints in DSP today! WOO HOO!

The interface needs some fine tuning but very good for the initial introduction.

Five people have been killed by bears so far in 2021, up from four in 2020.

Only three people have been killed by the vaccine. Yet it's considered more frightening.
Look at JDreyer coming out of the gate with both guns blazing.👍

But seriously, who goes into the outback without enough ammo. 👀 Dude wasn’t worth rescuing in my book.
Who tries to take out a grizzly with a pistol? 😨
Achktchoolie a .454 Casull or some other hand cannon might do the trick.
I thought for sure I read an article about some park up there that required back country campers to carry a certain size caliber or larger but I can’t find it.

Many, many people. Most people carrying in Alaska for bear defense are carrying a pistol, since lugging around a shotgun or a rifle at all times is a chore. 10mm, 44 Magnum, 500S&W Magnum, all proven Grizzly killers. Hell, there's documented cases of 9mm killing Grizzlys, but I sure wouldn't chance it.
