Out of the Blue

It's already been an adventure-filled day here at the BlueTower, as we suffered a power outage first thing this morning. The weird thing is that with clear skies and no wind, this was clearly not weather-related. MrsBlue and I took a walk and found some workers who explained that a car hit a utility pole down the road a bit. That's pretty scary, as it's a 30 mph road, and I doubt that's enough to damage one of those poles, so I imagine this involved excessive speed. Of course, hitting a stationary pole off the side of a quiet road is not an endorsement of any of one's driving skills, so I guess this shouldn't be a surprise. Anyway, it only took the power company a couple of hours to get everything right, so things are back to normal again.

Sorry, didn't see your post.
Yes, tenth country in world ranking of highest Covid death toll per million now.

The Peronist/Kirchnerist leftist populist government preferred Russian and Chinese vaccines for political reasons/ideology : Too few vaccines delivered.

I received the 1st dosis of the Russian Sputnik V vaccine 3 months ago.
But the 2nd dosis has different components, and Russia always had problems making that one.
So basically, I can't get the 2nd dosis, almost nobody can

Argentina has a very rich territory and ample resources, few to none weather problems, but was already infected by ... us.

Yo, I do too and I'm a bit nervous about this. I like Coke Zero over Diet Coke because imo Diet coke is pure chemical taste and Coke Zero is not.

In Vancouver, we briefly had a Stevia version of Coke (which I sold at my store, I was its primary customer) which I actually liked a lot more over Coke Zero - but due to the aluminum shortage Coke here cancelled a whole slew of products including that SKU and I have been told it is not coming back here.
Sounds like you'd better stock up.

I really haven't followed the story, but based on the article he was "only" convicted on the murder for hire charge and the sentencing rules say the sentence can't be over 22 years. *shrug*

What the fuck, a shorter sentence for Joe Exotic?!? He's literally a rapist(multiple men) and attempted murder, before you even get into the fraud and animal cruelty. He should be buried under the fucking jail at this point.

I just make my own. One can of standard Diet Pepsi and a good squirt of sugar free cherry Kool-Aid liquid mix and you have Diet Wild Cherry Pepsi again.

Valve just announced the handheld Steam Deck:

https://store.steampowered.com/sale/steamdeck

https://www.steamdeck.com/en/

Hahah it actually looks decent, holy shit! 4 back buttons! Those prices though I wonder what the battery life will be, they claim "long play sessions", whatever that means. I like that it can be docked and used like a Switch with the TV. I can't believe I'm saying this but it could be good!

Answering my own question:

40Whr battery. 2 - 8 hours of gameplay
Specs look solid too.
Playing: Wildermyth, Mass Effect Legendary, Returnal
Watching: Deadwood, Dune, Evil
