I kind of agree. I really, really can't believe we didn't get an RDR2 expansion, particularly with how well set up it was for an American Nightmare 2. That said, I definitely got my money's worth out of the single player of GTA5 and RDR2.

That said, to others' point, I feel as if the writing in GTA5 was beyond horrible. It was unacceptable bunk gibberish. When the only likeable character is your "psychopath," you have a major issue. What it thought was "satire" just kind of felt like when the kids on South Park wrote a book - it was what a bunch of 9 year olds would think was deep, provocative, and dirty.

Yet some RDR2 was poignant and melancholy and excellently written with a fantastically defined world. By the same guy. Who I also think did a great job with Max Payne 3.
