New NVIDIA Drivers

Likewise, NVIDIA Support now offers new version 471.11 WHQL-certified Windows graphics drivers for GeForce graphics cards. These include support for raytracing and NVIDIA DLSS for Lego Builder's Journey. Word is: "LEGO Lego Builder’s Journey is the world’s first Unity game with ray tracing. LEGO Builder’s Journey is an aesthetic and atmospheric geometric puzzle game set in a completely LEGO brick-based environment. DLSS improves performance by up to 92% in the game." These drivers will also add the same support to DOOM Eternal, that will be in a week, sadly missing the 25th anniversary of Quake by that much (*holds fingers really close together*). Here's more on what it will add to latest installment in id Software's shooter series:

I loved Doom Eternal as a one off game in the series, but I agree with the sentiments here in general. I wouldn't want the whole series to evolve into a platform game with Souls type combat, which is what Eternal leans towards.

Yeah what did me in was that demon you need to wait for his eyes to flash green before you can strike. I swear, is this Dark Souls in Doom? What the hell was that all about. I've died countless times to him and it got me thinking, wtf am I playing here? This ISN'T DOOM! I've had more spray and praying fun nonstop in Wolfenstein killin Nahzis than I've had here...

Interesting news this past week on DLSS 2.2's silent release now being used in Seige as it clears up some blurriness when in motion AND that you can copy the new DLL into other DLSS games to get the benifit in those games to. That's cool.
