DOOM is a storied game franchise, and DOOM Eternal launched last year to critical acclaim and the adoration of fans. Powered by idTech, id’s incredibly fast game engine, DOOM Eternal is pushing the visual boundaries even further by adding ray-traced reflections and performance enhancing NVIDIA DLSS. This continues the winning streak for NVIDIA DLSS and ray tracing. DOOM is another huge game franchise, and DOOM Eternal is another Triple-A game that has turned to NVIDIA-pioneered gaming technologies to take their performance and image quality to new heights.

Now to really add to the frustration is when you need to use "strategy" to defeat certain demons. Take that out of my Doom game, please! I want brainless, mindless killing like Doom was all about.
I agree with this sentiment. At this point, they might as well call it Dancing with the Demon All-Stars.
This is my main complaint with the game. I thought Doom 2016 was excellent, but I quit Eternal after a few levels. There were too many systems to constantly be thinking about and juggle - which weapon would best kill this demon, or do I need to use the chainsaw/flame thrower/glory kill to get more ammo/armor/health? Yes, these systems existed in Doom 2016 as well (except the flame belch), but they were more ancillary, while eternal made them necessary.
Doom is meant to be mindless demon killing fun, and always having to spend concentration on this nonsense pulled me out of the game and never allowed me to get into a good flow.

I've come to the conclusion that Doom is not really Doom anymore with the direction they've taken it despite wanting you to believe it.
Doom should be nonstop corridors and hallways of demons for blasting. At least that is the root basic of it. Eternal is almost like combination of Quake 3 arena and Doom combined. You literally just enter "zones" where they drop waves of demons at you. Yeah that is cool while it lasts, then it goes quiet again and you're just walking up until the next "zone". That's all it is, zone after zone.
