Oh, brother...more preachy "social" fluff designed for 14 year olds--wait, belay that to read "designed for 10-year-olds for whom puberty is but an interesting, abstract concept they've read about here and there but have never experienced outside of visiting their local neighborhood zoos and ogling the random porno", etc.

I think game designers who think I want to be lectured by pre and sometimes even actually pubescent teenyboppers about why I must be, and should be, lectured about why my personal likes are acceptable but my dislikes are not, or vice-versa, all in the computer games that I buy for fun--then I wish them all the luck in the world luck because they are going to need it.

Here's what I'd like to see--well, not really, because I do not think these kinds of themes are entertaining games material *cough* But stretching the ol' imagination a tad...

How about games that push tolerance and acceptance from all sides of a controversial issue? How about showing the people who may disagree with you as much consideration, sympathy, and tolerance you ask them to show to you? To my way of thinking, that is the only way to fly and people who expect to trash other people simply because they disagree on various issues should expect to be treated just like that by people who disagree with their principles, and so on. It's the way the world turns because it spins on the axis of human nature (how profound, eh?) Ah, what a wonderful world it would be if everyone did to other people only those things they would have those people do to them! If a game has to be made on human relationships, then the first steps in such a game would be the realization that everyone needs to have respect and tolerance for the other guy's opinions and beliefs--if that is, he expects anyone to have respect for his principles and beliefs.

I'm such a blabbermouth--but, OK, sometimes I get more motivated than at other times, I'll admit...;) Didn't intend to go on like this, but it's something I do believe myself. Nobody is right about everything, just as no one is wrong about everything. Fighting racism, bigotry, intolerance, disdain with racism, bigotry, intolerance, and disdain is guaranteed to never work, imo. Our own government has trouble with this very elementary lesson, imo. But the bottom line here for me is that I do not expect anyone to have respect for my beliefs and principles unless I show respect for theirs.

I've played for about 3 hours and the game wasn't in my face about the transgender brother. The brother simply is transgender. An old neighbor tries to understand but fails, and while you (playing as he trans brother) can choose to react like a woke, disrespectful piece of shit and go on a tantrum about how disrespectful the old neighbor is, you can instead also chose to be understanding. If you, as the player, think the topic of transgenderism is complicated, the game allows you to act like that.

I hate -- HATE! -- woke cultists. The way it's their way or the highway -- how you are a monster if you don't think exactly the way they think -- is fascism. But what you want, WaltSee, is what this game gives: a chance to be respectful to both sides of the aisle. At least that's what I experienced during my first 3 hours into the game.

No, Blue's was always Blue's iirc, but i know what you mean, Voodoo Extreme used to be my homepage as long as it existed I shed a tear when Billly announced that they are gonna close it. :S

I finished Tell Me Why a while ago and as opposed to their other titles I didn't like it at all, the whole transgender thematic is too on-the-nose and distracts from an otherwise ok, but ultimately long-winded and boring story. Artstyle is really nice tho, and great voice acting as per usual. Overall 6/10 imo.

I already have this in my library. Should I go on a hate fest whining spree because Steam is giving it away for free (and that's somehow bad) and I already have it?
