It has more to do with that Book of Fett just wrapped up and Obi Wan is currently in production and using The Volume.
There is a "behind the scenes" for Season's 1 and 2, and the CGI is actually fairly cheap. Really worth a watch.
Who cares. Let Disney wallow in their own muck.

Yeah, the ending of S2 felt very final to me - especially with the plug for The Book Of Fett too. I'm actually (mildly) surprised S3 is happening at all.
