The difference between Amazon and Steam is Amazon uses its position to promote its own brand over sellers. Regardless there are no shortage of online marketplaces for stuff. Just because most choose not to compete with Steam doesn't mean you can't. No one ever said it would be easy or cheap. Jesus, it's like you expect someone to just hand you some multi-billion dollar success without having to put in any effort. It's not like any of these corps started that way. The problem is most of you have never actually run a business.
