More Battlefield Leakage

Noted Battlefield leaker Tom Henderson continues to take a leak all over the next Battlefield game. He issued a tweet showing a hand-drawing that supposedly depicts a map from the next installment in the military shooter series seen in a cinematic trailer that's due next month. This shows an island that is very large and a tornado rolling in, indicating the game will feature variable weather effects. There are also six to eight Ospreys he believes are flyable. A follow up tweet from All Things Gaming turns the sketch into a full-blown piece of concept art. In another tweet Tom defends his veracity, and questions why he would risk a hard-earned reputation by lying. His most recent tweet on the subject calls this:
The calm before the storm.

Never argue with an idiot. They will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

My Battlefield interest peaked at Battlefield2142.

BF3 did really well in infantry, and BF4 finally married it all together with some pretty solid expansions.

But it's not another BF2142 game

I reinstalled BF4

There's a lot more active servers right now, I count like 10-12 full 64-player servers on the east coast alone.

If anyone wants to squad up I'm trying to branch out, would be fun to kick it with some bluesers.

I'm kinda pooping my pants at the thought of this. 8 Ospreys, 64 players on a team, all air dropping in. Will make for quite a sight to behold. A true aerial invasion.

32v32 was pushing the limits of the PC back in the 2000's, but since it's been held back by inferior console CPUs. This is a new day.

I just pray to god this isn't cross-gen. All these advancements will be held back by catering to cross-gen. They need to bring us into the future properly.

Just go back to big maps, multiple vehicles on each map and allow the fun chaos that ensues.
Sadly I predict small maps with tons of choke points where nearly all the fighting will happen yet again.

Have you played BF5? That's literally what the games are. Huge maps with planes and tanks and jeeps, etc. I've played since BF2, loved BF4, didn't dig BF1 for some reason, but I've loved BF5. Sound in it is amazing and the game play is really fun for me. I guess I'm in a minority on this forum, but I'm excited for the next Battlefield.
Loved 4, hated V.
Still play 4 when on a break from Warzone (and life) .

I really enjoyed BF1, BF2 and BF4 (i cant even remember if i played 3).... but the most recent variants were garbage IMO. BF5 was the only game in recent memory i actually regret buying.

Heh, that title made me flash on Paulie Shore, 'More leakage, budday.'

I agree, lost most interest after BF3 which was okay but sort of small maps made it kind of boring.
Zero interest in anything past BF3.

I just want some sort of competition with COD. Modern Warfare was so awesome when it came out. The guns, audio and weapon modding.. Gimme more of that, in Battlefield, with a lot more guns!

I dropped of Battlefield hard
I played all of em, BF2 however irked me with the bad gunplay
I was super into Bad Company 2 (actually loved it)
Then BF3 was already a bit meh, actually super meh
BF 4 was ok, got better later, and is now great after MANY patches, but....

BF Hardline was total garbage
BF1 was total garbage
BF5 was total garbage

And BF6 has ZERO attention from me.

I want to be hyped by this. But I cannot. The previous Battlefields really killed my hype train. BF1 was an ok direction, but seemed half assed; its WW1 and you run around with smg's or full suit body armor things. Its rather silly. BF:V which had some nice improvements but took ages to get to where it is today. I like the breakthrough mode and the offense defense game play. Building fortifications and altering the map I find fun.

Both games were shoved out of the door under finished with low map/country counts. Not to mention BF:V's hyped customizable tanks thing that took over a year to actually get put in and when it did it was kinda toss.

I look forward to the announcement of what era its taking place in and in what part of the world. After that I will take EVERYTHING else they say with a grain of salt. Believe it when I read it implemented in the patch notes kind of thinking.
