Mass Effect Legendary Edition has gone GOLD! It's been quite a journey - time to celebrate briefly. Maybe even dance a little... if that's you're thing.

I want it because I never realized playing Evil FemShep was so damn fun until I think ME2 or 3. Was she as much fun to play in ME1?
Evil shep was ALWAYS amazing, and had some of the best scenes imo
No not evil Shep, FemShep was funny as hell. There is a scene where she convinced a drunk Volvus to charge with his almost non-existant biotic powers.... "charge..... *sigh*" lol

History for the younglings: "Gone Gold" back in the 90s meant the game was in it's finished debugged state and put on a gold master disc and sent to the duplicators for putting into the retail boxes that you bought in person at a physical store. You had to play whatever the final code was, no day-one patches, no hot-fixes, no downloadable content, no lockboxes, etc. The game had to work the first time, for everyone, which is just amazing by today's standards.
That's not entirely true, I remember Hero's Quest 4: Shadows of Darkness had a zero day patch, I'm not sure if the internet existed in Netscape Navigator/Webcrawler form, but I did "connect" and "download" a fix. Of some kind. That Katrina...

But even so, games didn't always work smoothly, even back when most people couldn't get the patches from FTP. Off the top of my head, I can remember Elite First Encounters, Ultima VIII & IX, Daggerfall and Battlespire all being extremely buggy.

Hey kids! Pay twice for the same game! Demonstrate what suckers you are and we'll do this for every property we own and put every developer we bought out of business!
Honestly people, you're morons if you pay for this.
I'm twelve, I never owned the original Mass Effect Trilogy. Should I wait to buy this or buy the originals? Thanks in advance, I don't want to be a sucker.
You sound very intelligent, so much so that I almost mistook you for a 13 year old.
Purchase the originals if you are cash constrained , you'll save some money.
Otherwise wait for the LE release.
