If everyone around her gets vaccinated, she'll be protected by herd immunity. The vaccines are something like 90% effective in preventing people from even getting infected. Of course, ideally she'd get vaccinated. I hope you can figure out how.

The only April's Fool I fell for this year was on "Pardon The Interruption" where they opened the show with a story saying the NFL's Jaguar head coach Urban Meyer had indicated he was "leaning" towards taking Justin Fields instead Trevor Lawrence with the first pick of the upcoming NFL draft. Reporting that Meyer's was "blown away" by Ohio State's Justin Fields pro day and with the strong recommendation from Meyer's former top assistant Ryan Day. Wilbon and Kornheiser criticized Meyer for making a "college move" and it seemed as if he was trying to "do something good for Ohio State" and was showing loyalty to his former assistant.

After revealing it was an April's Fool joke, Kornheiser said he thought the story was "reasonable" and was something which could have actually happened.

PA is accelerating things too. My wife has had both her shots - my parents as well. I'm getting my second on Thursday of next week. I had to drive over 1.5 hours for my appointment - deep into the 'tucky' part of Pennsyltucky. I live just on the fringe of it.

People in central NY have been heading down into the middle of PA and getting vaccinated - lots of appointments in central PA available. Something about people there not believing this is a big deal or some such is causing them to avoid getting vaccinated....
