I am shocked, SHOCKED! To hear that John McAfee is being accused of nefarious dealings.

Is McAfee storing the cryptocurrency in his 'unhackable' wallet? Should be no problem for the DOJ to get them then:

Based solely on his wiki page, so FWIW, he was wanted for questioning as a person of interest in the death of an American expatriate named Gregory Viant Faull who was killed by gunshot and found dead on Nov. 11, 2012. As best I can tell he is still wanted by Belizean authorities for that reason. He apparently was arrested in Spain on Oct 5, 2020 at the request of US DOJ for tax evasion. McAfee is currently incarcerated in Spain, pending extradition to the United States.

Didn't he murder a man in a foreign country? How was he still walking free? Also, no surprise, a pump and dump crytpo currency scam, isn't that every rich person's involvement in cryptocurrency now?

Someone else had the idea with a video game kickstarter scampaign, sorry, campaign, so he went with that crypto currency service, sorry, scam.

Kind of, but the allegation is that McAfee lied about not being involved with any trading of his own. AFAIK it's not illegal to go on Twitter and talk crypto to millions of followers, but the fraud comes in when you are intentionally misleading people for your own gain.

So it'd be like if Elon was on there scaring people into selling Bitcoin so the price would go down before he dropped $1.5B on it, or if he hadn't disclosed the purchase and then dumped it for a profit after hyping the price up some. I'm not following it that closely, but I know they're asking questions about exactly when he bought in and why... If he just really thinks it's a good thing and put his money where his mouth is, there shouldn't be an issue.

Most of the whales making big money are just quietly manipulating things behind the scenes like they do with the stock market. Much harder to catch them that way, or prove any blame even if you do.

John McAfee is still alive? He must be like 90 by now.
