You directly quoted me. There was no direct call for you to do anything by me. Also, in this case, semantics and context matters. "surely", in English, is inquisitive in nature and not a directive.
Even so, you did not address the two questions I asked you. I'd prefer we dispensed with the linguistic non-sequitors and actually dealt with the issue at hand.
