Steam Remote Play Together Beta Expands

Valve announces an expansion to the beta "Invite Anyone" program, allowing Steam users to invite as many friends to join a multiplayer game as the game will support. The twist is your friends not only don't need to own the game you're playing, they don't even have to have Steam installed or a Steam account, they'll just need the Steam Link app. And this covers more friends than before, as they also announce that Steam Link is now available for Linux. Inviting your friends requires opting into the Steam Client Beta, and you can find a list of thousands of games that support Remote Play Together on this page.

Presupplied Steam Link apps seem pretty hit and miss. My Amazon Fire HD10 can't maintain a stable connection either, no matter what I try. My old and new iPhone can stream fine though (although I don't want to play anything on a screen that small.) PC to PC using windowns seems to be in a very good place, I played some Civ 6 today streaming to my shitty laptop that only has 2.4GHz wifi and it's pretty much flawless.
