No gameplay. I hate trailers like that.

The thing so many of these Alien games and even a few of the movies get all wrong is they show waves of waves of aliens, when the game or movie never establishes where/how enough potential human hosts were available for that many face huggers to leave the egg and plant baby aliens in the humans chests.

With games like WH40K: Darktide coming out, there is absolutely no reason why we should settle for this kind of tripe. Now there is a miniscule chance that this might turn out much better than what was shown in that trailer but somehow I doubt it.

Doesn't look like it pays much attention to the whole 'acid for blood' part of the Aliens universe, and really... hordes of them running down your team is the wrong way to go about it. Should be less enemies, more deadly and harder to kill. More suspense, less constant action.
That's like, your opinion, man, but I welcome more large-scale depictions of this universe. Just because the original films were low-budget and couldn't depict a lot of xenos does not mean that's the mold that everything else in the franchise has to fit. You got your slow suspense in the last good game, let us have a[nother shot at a] good action game.

Seems like this would have been the perfect IP to use the engine/environment from GTFO. 4-player co-op sneak/aggressive bug-hunt.
Anyone playing GTFO? And if so, what you think?
It's on my radar, but not interested until it's out of early access.
