Also for your trivia question, I personally don't see why a person cannot have a change of mind in real-time. But more than likely the change occurs not because of any new facts being presented, but because there has been a change of heart (compassion and understanding, life-giving and complex) in that person. And if such change does occur, it would not be possible for another person (outside of self) to know at the instant moment it happens. In fact, I would argue that even the person itself may not realize such change has occurred until later.
