It's the right decision. Unless a CRPG is designed with MP in mind like NWN it's pretty pointless. I never understood why devs would try to shoehorn MP into games like this. Always seemed like a waste of time and resources that would be better spent on more and better SP content. Take the Witcher 3 as an example. Imagine if half that game was removed for the sake of MP. It wouldn't have sucked but it wouldn't have been nearly as good or satisfying.
