The Man From Earth is one of my all time favorite movies. Easily top 10. A rare, and underappreciated gem.
I must watch it at least once a year. So much to think about. Great movie to watch with friends and then sit down at talk about for hours.

The Man From Earth
10 minute scene
Could be considered spoilerish but...

It's not good from what I've heard. The original was wonderful, and I don't need it tarnished.

Oh and speaking of "The Man From Earth" -- has anyone watch the 2017 sequel "The Man from Earth: Holocene"? I'd like to but I'm concerned it will ruin the original for me somehow.
What !, on it like right now, thanks ! *cross fingers*![]()

I don't think they have any plans of updating or changing anything gameplay wise from D2. As Blizzard indicated in another interview, this is a pure remaster and not a remake. They were going to leave the game concepts untouched and just go mostly for a visual upgrade.
If that is the case, don't expect any annoyances to be removed from the game or updated. Especially if they're looking for a quick buck. They know that simply updating the visuals will garner plenty of sales because there are a lot of old time fans who while still will remember those annoyances, will still probably purchase the game to run through it for the nostalgia factor alone.

Didn't see Tenet yet.
Why are movies so bad, ...
Watched about half an hour of Greenland and figured that was all anybody should ever watch of it.
I have no desire to watch Wonder Woman.
Edit
The best movie I've seen recently is "I Care a Lot."
Just enjoyed my daughter's tip, "Promising Young Woman", good dark comedy thriller.
Lately I like action only if backed by a coherent or at least funny/ingenious plot.
Reading your fine posts and links, I think you would find the "The man from earth", 2007, very engrossing, if you missed it.
Miss dearly the high actoral voltage and emotional interactions of a Jessica Jones.I

the diablo 2 remaster has kind of made it look like merely a bad-looking modern game and therefore kind of charmless.
i guess opinions vary on what a remaster should accomplish but in in my books, for a 20+ year old game, this ain't it chief.
Well, I'm in the same boat, basically... I played enough D2 and D2+mods back in the day, for several lifetimes. I most likely won't get the Resurrected version anytime soon, if at all, but I'm sure they will get about $300 million worth of nostalgia sales, at minimum.
Bring on Diablo 4... by like 2024, probably.![]()
*EDIT* Rofl, that video, about a third of the way through, one of the characters has his inventory like 50% full of charms and a teleport book. Ugh, so many bad design choices people gloss over in their minds from that game.

Why are movies so bad, even with a great foundation to stand on ?
-- Wonder Woman 1984, an overlong silly inconsequential flop.
-- Train to Busan 2 Peninsula, astoundingly poor, with repellent or cartoonish characters.
-- Greenland, badly made CGI: a showckwave races along a street throwing down the hero and breaking windows, but not a leaf moves in all those trees.
A meteorite falls some kilometers away rising a *gigantic* mushroom of fire, and they go about the house with no consequences.
