According to the Bible, the world's condition is just par for the course, and it says it's going to worsen. "The Great Tribulation" is coming (Matthew 24:21). That will happen after the world's governments turn on and destroyed most of the major religions. You think times are tough now. Jehovah is going to show people how powerless and fake their gods genuinely are. And for those who turn to governments for protection, there will be no salvation. Daniel 2:44 reads, "In the days of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom never to be destroyed, and God's Kingdom will not pass on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it alone will stand forever" Verse 45, "The Grand God has made known ... what will happen in the future."
The following numbers are tentative and misleading.
There are millions of religious people only in name/group affiliation but not really practicing or participating.
Now, where to find the Holy Truth.
Secular/Nonreligious/Agnostic/Atheist 1.193 billion 15.58%
Christianity 2.382 billion 31.11%
Islam 1.907 billion 24.9%
Hinduism 1.161 billion 15.16%
Buddhism 506 million 5.06%
Chinese traditional religion 394 million 5%
Ethnic religions excluding some in separate categories 300 million 3%
African traditional religions 100 million 1.2%
Sikhism 26 million 0.30%
Spiritism 15 million 0.19%
Judaism 14.7 million 0.18%
Baháʼí 5.0 million 0.07%
Jainism 4.2 million 0.05%
Cao Dai 4.0 million 0.05%
Shinto 4.0 million 0.05%
Zoroastrianism 2.6 million 0.03%
Tenrikyo 2.0 million 0.02%
Animism 1.9 million 0.02%
Neo-Paganism 1.0 million 0.01%

I am reminded of an L&O episode where a lawyer (IIRC, he might not have been a lawyer) is targeting people who were previously conned by a now convicted con artist banker. And one detective says (paraphrased), "Well, you have to give him [the lawyer] credit, they [the victims] already have a proven record of being fooled."

Went down a rat hole researching Texas industry regulation (or lack, thereof). Apparently something else that's lightly regulated, is the massive number of hazardous chemical storage tanks. There's been a lot of chemical explosions in Texas. Because Texas has very loose zoning regulations, it allows mixing of residential and commercial. Because of terrorism concerns, there is no way to know if your house is a couple of blocks away from, say, a giant ammonium nitrate warehouse.
There's been chemical explosions in Texas that have been devastating. This four part Texas Public Radio podcast examines these issues. Interesting stuff:

Sorry for the long post, been gone for 4 days! Hope everyone is safe and warm.
We made it back to the land of electricity here in Austin, and glad the rest of the world is still chugging along!
Lost electricity on Sunday, then water on Tuesday, apartments were dropping 10 degrees a day, on Wednesday they were at 44.
We started moving the elderly to Warming Centers on Tuesday, but no one seemed to know anything about them. But the name was inciting?
The last group came back, after getting out of the vehicle 3 ladies (little to no English) and a gentleman. He used to be on the board of the no profit here
and said it looked like a super spreader. Also, the 3 ladies were scared and said it was too rough looking. He mentioned it looked like they bused the
Homeless there and the seniors didn't feel safe. Probably peeps off meds and such. Anyway we found a hotel near by got 3 rooms for the last 7 leaving.
Beside hot coffee, the one thing I missed the most was Easy Tiger Sourdough! Easily the best sourdough in Texas, original, olive and Walnut Cranberry OMG!
They had not been able to bake bread for 3 days, no water or electricity. So I'm making a food run for all these elderly and say, as long as I get to stop by and
check Easy Tiger, I'll take you anywhere else you want!![]()
I get there with luck, a few lights on. I get out, a gal meets me on the sidewalk and proceed to beg her to sell me bread because I'm a fanboy. But when she started
asking questions I told what was going on. Then she started making sandwiches, of course I was just as starved for a good meal as anyone.
Told her I would buy whatever she had to spare. She said they only had cold ingredients and weren't up to 100% BUT she didn't want my money.
That gal made a bag full 10-12 sandwiches and gave me my loaf of sourdough, holy shit I'm in love!![]()
Anyway she told me to call if we needed more help, they were trying to get the word out they were helping. So I called the director of marketing at the nonprofit,
told her what happen. She got so excited she was going to livestream the info.
Anyway got my loaf of bread, oh and saved a bunch of elderly, but come it was sourdough!![]()

You realize nobody cares what you say after this, right? I don't know why you insist on continually injecting your dogma into a forum for video games. What do you hope to accomplish?
Most self-described Christian groups have organizations devoted to missionary work which in whole or in part includes proselytism of the non-religious and people of other faiths (including sometimes other variants of Christianity). Jehovah's Witnesses[14] and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints[15] are known in particular for their doctrinal emphasis on proselytizing.
