Call of Duty Lawsuit

A lawsuit filed in United States District Court accuses Activision of copyright infringement in the use of one of the characters in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. This is on behalf of artist Clayton Haugen, who says the Mara character is based on his concept art for a character named Cade Janus (no relation to Hugh). The legal team in this case is the same one that has similar pending litigation alleging the Prophet character in the game is based on a character named GI Bro created by wrestler Booker T. Huffman. Here's more on the case:
The lawsuit, filed in United States District Court in Marshall, Texas, alleges that “Call of Duty” developers used those images as well as the same model and makeup artist employed by Mr. Haugen as the basis for the “Mara” character. The lawsuit further alleges that those professionals were forced to sign non-disclosure agreements in an attempt to cover up the infringement.

Interesting. I thought Mara was based on the real life person and streamer Alex Zedra?
