Impeachment is convoluted.

When the house passes articles of impeachment it is the equivalent of an indictment in a criminal case.
The house has voted for impeachment twice on the pos. (He has been impeached twice)

Next, the Senate considers whether to remove him by holding a trial in which senators act as the jury.
The consequences of a guilty impeachment conviction in the Senate is removal from office.

Trump didn't get to be the dictator he wanted to be because he got impeached and will probably be impeached again. It has nothing to do with what the "Left" wanted to portray him as, it has to do with what he actually said and did.

But yeah, keep portraying yourself as a rational thinker while completing ignoring the evidence. You have me convinced for sure.

By quietly withdrawn do you mean that it was in the news cycle.

Lancet, New England Journal retract Covid-19 studies, including one that raised safety concerns about malaria drugs
"Meanwhile, researchers reported the results of the first gold-standard clinical trial of hydroxycholoroquine in Covid-19, concluding that it did not prevent infections any better than placebo."

And of course it was reported in other places where quiet things happen, like the internet.

Actually I called Q-tards for what they are, from the start. 2020 has been a very disappointing year for rational people on the Right, after seeing half of the MAGA movement plunge into full Covid denial and spread of bogus data about the virus, not to mention the Q-tards and "Bill Gates 5G chipping" bullshit.

Of course, the Left has also failed this country during this time by supporting the "Trump advocates HCQ therefore HCQ doesn't work" narrative and being responsible for loss of at least tens of thousands of lives in that manner, while more and more evidence emerges that HCQ does work, and the main anti-HCQ study by Lancet has been quietly withdrawn.

But I digress. I am factually correct. All the major social networks have been used to spread hate and violence - much of it coming from the Left - but they escape punishment due to being large corporations, while using anti-competitive tactics against their competition in order to slander them and deplatform them.

If we applied remotely the same standards to Facebook and Twitter, their server hosting would be pulled. These companies became the Ministry of Truth. That is the actual truth.

I'm confused, does he reveal the healthcare plan before he reveals his taxes or after.

Now that Fox News is dropping more of their actual "news" shows and replacing them with opinion-based hannitytucker propaganda, will they come to be known as the real fake news or will they choose the moniker "alternative" news.

Make no mistake, Facebook and Google are just as ubiquitous.

Trump does not fall into a single political stereotype, and he will drag these megacorporations into government regulation, kicking and screaming. Welcome to the public utilities of the 21st century.

Their harassment of every visible public figure to the right of Marx, while turning a blind eye to blatant racism and violent extremist groups on their platforms, has accelerated this process greatly and brought it to public view.

I very much doubt it's only the "far right" that wants to cancel the cancel culture...;) It's hard for me to understand the lunatic idea that censorship is a net positive. Far better to debate ideas rather than banning them, imo.

For once I agree with Dems. Their algorithms are tailor made to push people toward "rabbit holes" by recommending "fake news" 6 times more than anything else and keeping them there for profit.

Might want to reinstate the media regulations that were removed ( in the early 80's I think? ) that were built to prevent that kind of promotion of bullshit. Back then medias were forced to fact check before disseminating information if I remember well...

It would not avoid all those Russia/pizza/whatever gate bullshits and other unfounded conspiracy theories from spreading completely, but it would at least not fan the flames and feed them.

Socially irresponsible media's current business model is to maximize eyeballs and if unfounded rumors, libel, lies, insurrection, hate and racism attract enough eyeballs, then fuck civilization and the rule of law, let's monetize it.

Which country would have benefitted most if Trump had the competence to actually initiate a nation wide power outage the Quazies were expecting to help push their failed January 6th insurrection over the top? A nation paralyzed and defenseless while our arch enemy and Trump buddy Vladimir smiles with glee?
