Out of the Blue

I'm greatly looking forward to the premiere of WandaVision. It sounded quite unusual from when Marvel first revealed the show, and the scant details they've been offering in the lead-up to its launch have done nothing to diminish that impression. It looks like it will be fun to finally understand what's going on, though I imagine it will take a while to unravel, and I won't be surprised if it's a mystery that will span the entire season.

Visionary Round-up

Humans are quiet amazing

As for WandaVision, so ya have technically 5 people still technically wrapped up with the Infinity Gems. Vision, Wanda, Pietro, and Widow.....

This one's going out to you, Blue....Neil Young - Kinda Fonda Wanda.

And speaking of Disney....The Sound of Silence (harp cover) | Deer Blooper - heh, that was cute.

I hope there is a reasonable explanation for this, but frankly I can't imagine what it would be.

WandsVision looks like a superhero version of I Love Lucy, Bewitched and the Dick Van Dyke show all rolled up in one.
I'll give it a whirl.

Supposedly the bust was on loan from a museum and it was being collected and returned.

Obviously there is a list of items at the White House and all Federal buildings. It shouldn't be to hard to get all the items back the GOP are stealing.
Even if they tried to scrub items to help them cover the thefts, there are records the GOP don't have access too.

Since he was impeached for Insurrection, he can no longer give valid pardons to the Insurrectionists or anything related to siege and attempted coup.
Of course he will probably try. If the FBI are smart as I think they are, then they will wait until they get all the critical testimony before
they have the pardons invalidated.

It's an aspect of Scarlet Witch's incredible power, which they barely even acknowledge in the MCU... She's been known to fabricate her own realities from time to time, and AFAIK doesn't need an infinity stone to do it.

It definitely seems like she must be one of the most powerful beings in the MCU.

Comics Wanda yes, MCU Wanda... her powers are vague enough to be as strong or as weak as the plot demands. I'm guessing with the show they are going to make her powers much stronger and define the reality of the show itself, ie. all the black and white 50's nostalgia looking trailers. That said, I'm looking forward to the show, it should be interesting at least.

So if we geek out MCU wise, one of the Infity Stones gave her and her brother powers, and gave life to Vision. While Widow and Gamora (actually forgot one in my count) are tangled up with the Mind stone I believe. And considering what we've seen of WandaVision, it appears that Wanda has made I Love Lucy, Bewitched and Brady Bunch versions of herself and Vision. So maybe this is the big dig deep into her powers and gets Vision back.

I remember from watching a documentary that there is a huge team of civil servants, spanning several admins, who take great care to catalog everything and make sure the move out, and move in goes smoothly. I seriously doubt someone can just walk out with a national treasure.

But on a personal note, I would suggest they keep an eye on the good silverware.

I tried to watch the first episode of WV last night and I think it went whooshing right over my head. It just seemed like a lame mashup of Bewitched and The Munsters.

I kind of recall Vision being created in one of the Iron Man or Avenger movies. And I barely remember Wanda from Infinity War or End Game. Can anyone give me a sort of primer about which MCU movies I should rewatch?

Uber-powerful character storylines have been pretty interesting in the comics. For example, one of Phoenix' storyline back in '80s where she basically destroys the universe struck me as a parable about nuclear annihilation.
