Legion was fun to watch. Visually pretty and crazy.

It was visually nice, but I couldn't get into it after two episodes as a fan of old sitcoms like I Love Lucy, I Dream of Jeanie, Bewitched, etc. :/ I do like how they made this theme very different.

I am just impressed with how different a kind of production this is compared to previous Marvel/Disney projects. Took a risk not just making another action superhero flic. I like it.

Just finished the first episode, and yeah, all you need to do is make it to the end for them to spill the beans. I mean, aside from the simple fact that Vision is there at all, lol. You do get some more insight before that point, though, when they're eating dinner and the boss is asking questions Wanda doesn't know the answers to. I would surmise that she is being held captive somewhere, the boss and his wife represent the captors, and that was part of an actual interrogation which almost broke through her fantasy world defense/coping mechanism and she started hurting the man (boss choking on food and wife begging her to stop it). Guess I'll just keep going now to see if that pans out, but overall I can totally see how someone who doesn't know the characters very well would be kind of bored and not really "get" the show. Beyond the overall theme, you'd miss all the puns and other inside jokes that almost border on playful fan service as you get re-acquainted with the pair, nearly two years after the last film.

I am not exactly sure where the Scarlet Witch ranks on the power scale because her power fluxes with her mental status. In the comics she falsified reality for years unconsciously...that's pretty powerful.

The orcs do have extra incentive of course - they get to cook the contents afterwards.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions on how I can 'catch up' to WandaVision. Looks like I get an excuse to watch some blockbusters again! Once I finish those, I'll move on to the episodes Dev suggested just in case I miss anything.

Captain Marvel seems awfully powerful too, but a tad bit under Wanda...

If you don't mind spoilers, Disney has you covered. The first two short episodes of Legends cover both wanda and vision and what they did in the movies.

My personal favorite is the theory that humanity, in one form or another, already took over the planet once. Might have been a different species but they were in our family and as smart or smarter. They got their asses kicked by something that didn't kick the asses of the domesticated slave races. Disease possibly? Eachother? Who knows. When they died the slave races didn't take over...they had to go through their own evolution and that led to clan wars which led to brutal extinctions of basically every other branch except homosapiens. This theory hinges on the idea that it didn't take nearly as long for humanity to evolve as most in the mainstream scientific community would believe. Some people put a religious slant on it and insist that God created the races and was disappointed in the tyrants the one particular species had become so he wiped them out and abandoned Earth. In the dust humanity rose up and when God checked on us again....he sent Jesus.

I don't believe any of it...but I am absolutely entertained by how much it sounds like a Middle Earth movie.

The twins are initially introduced in a after the credits scene (Winter Soldier I believe) and then again in Avengers Age of Ultron.
