Snowdrop engine, which was originally developed by Massive for the Division games (and used by a few others now). I'd say it's technically better than Ubisoft's AnvilNext engine, which they mostly stick to for many of their formulaic open-world games (Ass Creed, Ghost Recon, etc), and Dunia which is used for Far Cry.
EDIT: And yes, the AI in The Division games is decent, though since we know nothing of this new Star Wars game, I don't know how that will translate.
