Well they already failed to understand the difference between ionizing radiation and non-ionizing radiation so it wasn't a large jump ^^

When I interviewed with Motorola in 90 we toured the Applied Research and Development Lab APRDL.
I remember two things, one was the cpu they developed that could heal itself and the other was the large walk-in closet lined with grounded copper mesh that was full of test equipment and a small workbench.
- At this point, Windows is the OS equivalent of Stockholm Syndrome. -
