On a related note, there was reporting that some GOP House members were "in tears" from fear because they believed if they voted for the second impeachment of Trump it would result in threats of violence/harm against themselves and their families. And while I might have some limited sympathy for that situation, the fact they are in that situation should be proof beyond any measure the necessity of impeaching and convicting Trump. And if they can't see that and vote for impeachment, then they should resign their offices.

One reason they voted against impeachment was fear for their life from their constituents if they voted for it. 2nd amendment, FTW.

Right. This is specifically what I was addressing. Assuming that is the case, they should have either sucked it up and voted to impeach anyway, or they should resign. Obviously, I don't expect them to do that because I know they have no loyalty to their oath. Their main, and possibly only, interest is in retaining their own power.

Yes a Republic Rep from my state of Michigan who voted for impeachment was in the paper today saying he's been receiving death threats and is now wearing body armor when out of the house.
Yep, I read about it. I hope he thanks all his GOP buddies.

Not for a President, as far as I can tell.

Only Andrew Johnson, Bill Clinton, and Trump have made it to the Senate trial, all during their terms, all acquitted.

What trial are you referring to?
You are correct, I was wrong.

It wasn't a President. It was Secretary of War William Belknap, in 1876. I don't think I heard the beginning of the reporting and I had been "listening" to the story while I was busy on the phone and made a bad assumption. Looking into it, it appears when he learned he was going to be impeached he went to President Grant and resigned. Despite having resigned the House impeached him with a unanimous vote. After a trial in the Senate a majority voted to convict however they did not reach the two thirds requirement so he was not convicted.

Yeah, I had that uncle too (he passed away last year). Super smart guy: he was an electrical engineer who designed the central electrical system for the International Space Station. But he was a hardcore right-winger, although not a religious one: he was an atheist (which is strange as my aunt, his wife, is a hardcore Christian evangelical).

Holy cow, that is severely depressing...
My wife lost a friend to Q this summer. They both lost their job to COVID, but while my wife stayed home watching cat vids on YouTube, this person went down the Q rabbit hole. Now they don't talk.

Been reading some of the posts here.. and it is somewhere between being horrified and being fascinated.

Apparently the crazies are saying Trump is going to attempt a coup, again: "She then told me that Biden, Obama, and Hillary were all dead and Trump was going to use the emergency broadcast system and create a complete power/cell phone/internet outage in order to drain the rest of the swamp."

Simply stupefying...
I parlayed parlor that on January 21st President Joe Biden will resign and Vice President Kamala Harris will become President Kamala Harris and she will choose Hillary Rodham Clinton as her Vice President.

So far 18 people have been rushed to the hospital and two have committed suicide.

But hey I've got 457 thumbheartlikes and 63 people have quoted me.
So much for trending on parler

Pieces of shit block Democrats from bringing up a resolution to urge Pence to invoke the 25th Amendment.

Impeachment proceedings commence.

Correction
Republicans temporarily blocked consideration of the measure with a procedural move but a full House vote is expected by the end of the day Tuesday.

Jivaro and others if you want to read more stories of families being ripped apart by Q, here's a subreddit, it shows how deep the problem is. Yes we are on the cusp of some kind of war, they aren't going away and as we see now they are planning on storming all capitols. Oh and there hasn't been one Q thing I've read that is grounded to the point I can even consider, it's such unbelievable fiction that changes as their shit gets debunked over and over.

I feel for me it is important to understand what I'm dealing with.

To all that say freedom of speech is being taken away, again gov't and private are different, but what do you expect to happen if you attack the gov't and don't topple? You should expect the toughest reactions and penalties that can be given to Americans imo, that's what I would have thought. I like to make things simpler to grasp, other than the whole gov't. What does Horrorscope think will happen if he goes attack my local police station? Bad, bad things, expect death or life in prison.

Thanks man, I actually appreciate that.
