We all got so used to Trump "breaking social norms" a.k.a. being offensive and devisive.
Some love it because he's sticking it to the far left wackos (and they exist)
Some, like me, go numb and just see this as a proof of all my worst fears for humanity.
Bill Maher has a saying "Imagine if Obama did it..." and he's spot-on. If Obama had pulled even 1% of the crap this President has done there'd be uproar from the Right.
Instead most of them rode on Trump's coattails, dismissed his rhetoric as theatre and here we are.
I had hoped 2021 would get off to a more promising start, what with vaccines coming, but now I think we're going to look back at 2020 fondly.
We need you US. To look up to, as well as for our own survival.
