The farther I get in the game the more bugs I encounter. Weapons I pick up are being auto equipped, getting stuck in hacking mode or crouched, missing elements from missions, unable to directly message contacts, and the Nvidia Cyberpunk drivers that fubar GSYNC and Dual Monitors with a 1080ti.

Weapons auto equip with a certain key when you pick them up, it's easy to do it accidentally (I think it's F to pick them up, hold F to equip or something, I forget).

For me it's the "move body", you hold button to move body - quick press to equip the weapon, but I find if I hold it to pick up a body there's a chance I'll equip his weapon at the same time.

Think PropheT is right the only time, Ive auto changed a weapon was picking up a body. It was probably because I held the button too long.
Not sure if you've seen the Keybind.xml but the C and F keys are bound to about 5 different things. It's fucking nutz.

Weapons auto equip with a certain key when you pick them up, it's easy to do it accidentally (I think it's F to pick them up, hold F to equip or something, I forget). You can get stuck in crouch because of people talking and the skip dialog being on the same crouch toggle key, it's just a key binding issue; crouch toggle on C and crouch(hold) on l-ctrl you can sort of work around it by hitting the l-ctrl to break crouch while someone is talking, it can just be annoying. Messaging contacts directly is just pressing T to call them, then Tab to message them, but it's mission context sensitive. As for the drivers thing, that sucks but that's not really the game's fault. I haven't seen any missing elements from missions so not sure what you ran into there.

You can unequip gear with the middle mouse button. Cops won't aggro you if your guns aren't out and you stay a bit back from a crime scene; Trauma Team will fuck you up if you fart on the same block they're on sometimes, though, but they aren't common to run into at least. I think Kerry is the only gay romance option in the game if you're a male character (Judy if you're female); I think people expected the Bioware anyone goes option, but I don't think they'll change it unless they add more later.

Here's my short wishlist.
Being able to pick stuff up under the cursor. Being able to turn off the radio as a passenger in a vehicle (few NPC's have really bad taste in music like River), being able to romance anyone (including River, even though as a male you can attempt to kiss him), being able to unequip clothing, more tutorials on things like that there is a horn for all vehicles (just found out this yesterday), Cops going apeshit if ya just look in their general direction more then 10 seconds. Traffic able to go around like my bike being 1 foot into the lane and it comes to a dead halt.

So far I like the game and can see them putting out quite a bit of DLC considering just how massive the world is.
Afaik you can unequip clothing, what are you referring too? (open your inventory, click a slot like shirt, then middle mouse button while hovering over the equipped item.)
Yeah, I'm waiting for a mod to remove gender restrictions on Romance. Playing as a Female and think Panam would be a good choice.
I feel great sympathy for the residents of your Night City, while you are armed with a horn! Winkrazz
BTW you can disable, Pedestrians and Vehicles in the game (well it's about 90% of them). Just have to edit a file with Notepad ++ .

Have you not seen RDR2 on a PC? It's gorgeous. And unlike CP2077 it actually scales.

Cyberpunk 2077 is a PC game first and foremost, designed to push even the latest hardware and take advantage of the latest tech. I blame CD Projekt's brass for pushing it on the older consoles, even if the games been in the works for the better part of a decade.

I'm lucky enough to be fairly bug free and thus have had the opportunity to experience the game as it's meant to be played, and it is breathtaking. As others have said, most of the side jobs & gigs are pretty simple and strait forward - but they are the 'monster hunts' of Witcher 3, and so designed to be doable in 15 minutes or less, with a few shining examples. There are a number of great sub plots, the main story is amazing, and the gameplay is extremely fun, with a myriad ways to approach combat (or even go pacifist).

Though I fully expect to get some backlash for this opinion. How dare I have a positive opinion about anything on this forum.

Yeah. It's really bad. And I haven't even encountered many bugs yet at all! I fooled myself for a while that the game was great, because I'm really getting sucked into the main story quests. But then I realized I might as well watch a good movie because the only things I find great in this game are the moments I am not doing anything (except picking dialogue choices and looking around driving shotgun). Everything else involving actual gameplay I actually find utter shit.

I was initially considering a purchase, but not in advance because my GPU is on the lower side of the spec requirements. At this stage, I'm glad I did - because I'm not paying 60 bucks for a game that won't at least run "reasonably" on my setup (not to mention all the other bullshit that has occurred). If I see future evidence that they've better optimized it for older machines - and the price drops - I may consider it again. But right now, I have too many other games to play (or finish) or worry about it much.

Anyway, I quit playing this game 20 hours in and continued Valhalla (which is a terribly repetitive game but at least the actual GAMEplay is fun) and the amazing Alyx. I'll replay RDR2 after and also will give Fallen Order another shot. Maybe I'll give CP77 another shot in half a year but reading that they have the balls to mention DLC instead of fixing this putrid alpha mess, I doubt I will.

Still working through AC Odyssey here but already beginning to get the usual fatigue that sets in with UbiSoft open world titles. I did pick up Fallen Order in the holiday sales and finished it over a few nights. Gameplay-wise it's pretty derivative but I still enjoyed it nonetheless.

Not yet.
If you are interested in consoles you'll want to wait until after the February patch and look at reviews.

Can't fix stupid. My theory is the ai/cops etc are so bad because the game was aimed at the base console's hopelessly outdated cpus. Hopefully we'll see a big overhaul for the PS5/Enhanced Edition or whatever they call it this time.

Personally I doubt the base console will ever get "fixed", they are literally chugging producing what they can now. I wouldn't like to try and run cyberpunk on a i3/750ti combo but that's the performance of a base ps4.

Funny how RDR2 made it work on the hopelessly outdated hardware.

I don't think this game can be fixed. As I said above, my disliking the game has nothing to do with bugs. The city is smoke and mirrors, the combat has no weight to it. Oh, and don't get me started on the performance. Fuck me...

I like this game but to be honest I stopped playing the main quest until they improve a few things like AI and police response. A few things they won't be able to fix like my detachment to the main character but I guess maybe I just don't like the custom character design as much. They should have brought Geralt or Ciri to the future and made it a fish out of water tale, but that probably would have broken IP or something. Ciri did supposedly visit a similar world though.

They aren't even attacking other game stores with their Freebie Giveways! Mwahaha

Seriously, shouldn't they be fixing the bugs before they offer a DLC?

Supposedly a big bug and performance-optimization patch is coming out in January.

This free DLC thing is probably similar to those small free DLCs that they had for Witcher 3. I would not expect this to be big in scope at all and probably either a small outfit DLC or weapons DLC. I'd hope that it's more of a QoL DLC such as a transmog system or something to that effect.
