tweet from Sergiy Galyonkin indicates that the
recently identified
problem that caused graphics card temperature spikes on systems when running
the Epic Games Launcher was a bug (thanks
PC Gamer). He says they have rolled out a patch as a preliminary partial
hotfix that seems to be working:
The fix seems to be working, so it shouldn't take long.
The hotfix is live now (11.0.2). It's not a full solution, but things should improve.

Indeed, falling over themselves, what was described as much ado about nothing; except acknowledgement from the vendor and a Hotfix.
I assume the speed and communication of the vendor will be a rallying call of all that is just and good.
I didn't call it false, however I did say "The analysis needs more work..." I'm sure anyone who was complaining about it will be here soon to claim their bonus points.

The Epic launcher was using 25% of CPU resources on my PC last night. Today it's using 0%, and the Epic webhelpers are using about 9%. GPU is at 0.9%
