The parents were already bound for the level in Hell labeled "stage parents" but now it's clear they are going deeper, to the "lying stage parents" level.

I've watched some vids of this kid playing and they looked off to me. But it is also hard to believe they've gotten away with this to the point the kid can't even play well. But it looked odd. Then they go and do this, who the hell knows. As for a parent letting their kid play games like this, well say hello to millions of kids, so I don't have a big deal if a prodigy is found and it becomes more serious.

I feel sorry for this kid. So many stupid parents these days--parents teaching their young son to tell calculated, baldfaced lies and then calling it all a "stunt." It's not a stunt; it's lying, the most destructive behavior a parent could ever teach a child, imo. The parents here sound like six-year olds themselves. Cutter nailed it.
It is well known that I cannot err--and so, if you should happen across an error in anything I have written you can be absolutely sure that *I* did not write it!...;)
The parents are scumbags who lied to their audience, and smeared Activision. But I'm sure they will be quickly forgiven by their audience. The kid is too young for this shit. The audience piled on Activision as a result of a lie. Activision is plenty shady without having to use fake news to tar them.

Why would you allow a six year old to play it in the first place? Sounds like the kid needs to be placed in foster care and the parents should be neutered to prevent having anymore offspring.
