I'm tempted to pick up the Sims collection, it's only like $450 total, on sale.

90% of these games have been priced lower. It's such bullshit, so many games are overpriced to start with, so they can pretend it's a bigger discount.

I can't decide on GOTY. I put HL Alyx down for VR game, tho I haven't played it nor do I own a headset. RDR2 was very good but something prevents me from giving it my GOTY nomination. I gave it Story-Rich award instead. I put Sea of Thieves down as Better With Friends, Doom Eternal as Best Game I Suck At, Black Mesa as Labour of Love.
Ori 2 was good fun but I couldn't shake the feeling that I paid money to experience the exact same thing again. I put that down for Visual Achievement, it really does have good art direction, but then so does Sea of Thieves.
That still leaves GOTY. I wish I could nominate Cyberpunk...

How on earth is Hades not in the Outstanding Visual Style category of the steam awards?

There are no set nominees for each category, it just shows you a somewhat random list of suggestions based on what you've played.

Not to mention, this *is* the nomination period. The winter sale will have the actual awards voting based on what gets nominated during this sale...

Yea, you have to decide what you are willing to pay for a game, not wait for it to be on sale at the steepest discount. Because its almost certain that it'll have been cheaper in a past sale lol.

What really pisses me off is when you check prices on ITAD and see the game was on sale cheaper at some point on Steam. Aren't prices supposed to go down as - most - things age?

It was cheaper while in early access and its price increased as it got more added.

It happens with older games too.

Picked up Jedi Fallen Order for $25 bucks. So far, seems worth it though I only have 1.5 hours in it.

With 10% off its only $1,300 for the "Call of Duty Collection" (Which is missing a few of the newest games).

What a shit deal.
AUS? $962 US for me. I'm not enough of a connoisseur to tell what is missing but hard to believe anyone interested in the content wouldn't already own some of the them and finds the package, "not worth it". Personally I bought the first three on the list when they were released and enjoyed the hell out of them. Although I've never been even tempted by the franchise since....

Otherwise, I think I've come accustomed to these prices of the games on my wishlist. They haven't budged since like the same price they were at on sale during the Steam Summer sales, lol. Yeah, sucks. Nothing special anymore about these Steam sales other than, it's a mass sale. Nothing stand out though. Damn I wish Flash Sale Days. Ugggggh.

Thanks for the heads up on the Definitive Edition out of beta. That's a reinstall for me and ANOTHER playthrough...

Other than Amnesia: Rebirth, I'm not sure if I've played any other games released in 2020.
