Out of the Blue

I had a great new wildlife experience the other day when I realized there was some sort of animal fishing in the pond. It was hard to get a good look, as it barely surfaced between dives, but my assumption is it was some sort of otter. It was really cool seeing this in action, even with how elusive it was. My hopes that this entertainment would continue have not come true, however, as aside from that one sighting, it does not seem to have returned. This actually makes sense, as while the pond is fairly large as decorative ponds go, it's still a pretty small hunting ground, and probably wouldn't provide enough fish to sustain an otter for very long. We're not that far from a pretty large lake, and I imagine that this would be far more appealing to an otter, presuming it stays in the area. But I do hope it returns for an occasional visit.

The question on everyone's mind is if they remake HL2 can they complete it for less money and before Star Citizen is out of alpha.
They are waiting for you in the test chamber, RedEye.

Damn, the game was released on 10/2018 and the lowest discount was 15% at Fanatical about a month ago.
Do you see there were several mods on nexus, it looked to be over 200. The things you dislike, might be modded out?

Anyone playing Hardspace : Shipbreaker? I know El Pit has it. Anyone else? It's EA but very positive reviews so far. Looks fun.

I'm going to own it at some point, but I'm waiting for it to come out of EA.

Might be a muskrat. They are common in small ponds here (central NJ amongst the horse farms).

We used to have them around my house when I was a kid. We had a huge creek that ran for several kilometers out back. You'd always see them around.

I friggin' love otters. If I had to come back as any animal I think a river otter would be my first choice. How far is the larger lake from you, Blue? And does the little guy have to cross the road to get between the two? That would make me worry.

Hide your wallets and run away fast, Steam Sale is here! Ahoy
Hoping to see a better price on Rimworld, only 10% off currently. The game has elements I know I like, but it also has elements I could do without and it is not clear to me if I'll like playing it or not.

Unfortunately, it's really a game that requires more than 2 hours to get a feel for it, but you could try that and return it if you don't like it. I have about 50 hours in it, and really enjoyed it. I just didn't get very close to the end game in 50 hours, and looking at what I had left to do I'd have to put in another 100 or so? I also ran out of resources on my map. It was kind of daunting so I moved on. This was a couple of years ago, so things may have changed. The AI and character interactions were kind of fun to watch. Battles are cool for sure. And just the open nature of it leaves so much room for building things the way you want, which is what I enjoy in games with a building component like this.

You and I like similar kinds of games, with you often getting 5x the hours out of them I do, so consider that metric as well.

That title sums it up. Limbs and skin that think on their own.
Blue, you’d better thank your lucky stars that you have an otter and not an octopus in your pond.
