On another subject, I've asked their social media channels multiple times if implants will be optional. I think it could be cool to play a character who abstains, but they've never answered, so I think they'll be forcing cyber mods on you, so it's not really a true RPG, and that kind of bums me out.

That is like saying, I can't play a D&D PC game with no weapons it's not a real RPG. If the narrative and setting states everyone has some level of cyberware for one reason or another then it does not make it any less a RPG. It's simply a issue you have with the setting and Pondsmith.

Then maybe I do. That's like saying there's a version of Earth where EVERYONE does drugs. Even if I wanted to, maybe I'm poor and can't afford them.

How about WHEN IT'S DONE.
That worked for Duke Nukem Forever, right?

The PC version is done and working, the delay was due to current gen consoles. THEY fucked everything up for the rest of us, this was confirmed on the recent CDPR investor call.

The first mod I make for this game will be adding dual-wielding. >:O

Makes ZERO sense that they would have a statue created of V on a motorcycle holding two pistols if it was never planned to be in the game.
Why are you spelling words correctly?

Wielding dos pistolas and mac10s would be CAF! Reminiscent of Max Payne.

Plus an option to mix and match, a sawed-off shotgun with an HK MP7 would rule.

Dual welding? Like MIG and TIG?
Wry

Did you not read what I wrote?

I'm willing the accept that a global pandemic has presented dynamic and unexpected consequences to the physical production, assembly, and timed distribution to all markets: if it released in one region and not another - I could imagine that would be much worse than a pushed release date.

I have high expectations of this game. The Witcher 3 has raised the bar considerably, with regards to storytelling and even in some regard quest design however it was still mostly an action RPG where you played a specific character with a certain history, personality and outlook on the world. In Cyberpunk you will be able to create a character from scratch, so from the get go it's a CRPG, one where you play and role-play the character you want to create and play. If this is supported with varied and branched quest design then this game has the potential to become the best RPG ever made. A tall order indeed. I hope CDPR can deliver, if this comes close to offering the worldbuilding, variety and quest design of say Fallout: New Vegas it might turn out to be the best RPG ever made.
