I know this card is a dramatic upgrade over the 1070ti, but is it really worth it? It seems to be down on a lot compared to the 2080ti. Perhaps we need to wait for a 3070ti version?
I also wonder, should I upgrade my entire build that is 5 years old now or will it still be powerful enough to pair with the 3070 and not be the bottleneck? 16gb of memory and an i7 that I can't even remember the version. All 5 years old now. It's been beast at 1080p maxed out games and I do not have a 4k monitor but obviously know if I ever went 4k, it will be crippled to the floor.
Tomorrow AMD will tell us for the first time officially how good Big Navi really is. Wait until then and decide after that presentation which way to go, I'd say.
