Solasta should be on there instead of BG3 imo, a much better 5e adaption... oh well
I think you, I, and quite a lot of RPG, tactical RPG fans will most likely get both, I wouldn't worry about it. I'm hearing great things about Solasta from people who are using the EA version; fame will spread via word of mouth pretty quickly.
*EDIT* Grammar.
I just wish for both to get the attention they deserve, BG3 got too much for a game that is in SUPER early development, meanwhile Solasta knows what it wants and is just doing that. Smaller scale, more hardcore. Point is, Solasta is fun right now, BG3 is right now a total mess and to me it'd even be debatable if we could even call BG3 a 5th edition game.
Well, I was going to buy Solasta right now, based on RPG people I know in real life gushing about it, as well as online praise, but then I read some reviews (Steam users mostly), and apparently it's still buggy and also has flaws as far as 5th edition interpretation. I am not a 5th edition veteran by any means, so I have no idea, but it's also not even on Gog yet, and has a dramatically smaller budget/team than BG3, so I'm going to hold off until they finish it up and put it on my preferred store. But count me as an eventual buy!
*EDIT* Also, if companies want my party based RPG money
badly, they need to make their games with 6+ people parties, at least as an option!

I saw that somebody already modded BG3 to have 5 characters, so hopefully both games get a ton of mod support and mods, and get bigger parties tossed in eventually.
