The Outer Worlds on Steam and GOG.com

Almost exactly one year after the game's release on the Epic Games Store, The Outer Worlds is now also available though GOG.com and Steam, with each store offering a 50% discount on Obsidian Entertainment's sci-fi RPG. Here's the rerelease of the game's Launch Trailer and here's a refresher:
The Outer Worlds is an award-winning single-player first-person sci-fi RPG from Obsidian Entertainment and Private Division.

Lost in transit while on a colonist ship bound for the furthest edge of the galaxy, you awake decades later only to find yourself in the midst of a deep conspiracy threatening to destroy the Halcyon colony. As you explore the furthest reaches of space and encounter various factions, all vying for power, the character you decide to become will determine how this player-driven story unfolds. In the corporate equation for the colony, you are the unplanned variable.

No worries SpectralMeat, I mentioned in my post epic had one on sale there too, which was tricky and for peeps to be careful.
I'm just glad you caught it, if it had been me trying to buy Steam and ended up with epic, I would have been pissed! Bloodthirsty Bat

Gamebillet is not selling the Steam version of the game, just FYI
That's what it says right here, correct?
I followed the link from isthereanydeal.com website which took me to the Epic game store version.
I didn't realize gamebillet sells 2 different versions of the game. My bad.

I'm glad it's finally out in the world but.... at least Control had the decency to put the Compete Edition on for $29 (think it was Fanatical) at release.
The cheapest is GameBillet, according to IsThereAnyDeal for $24 but it's still just the base game bullshit. (very tricky epic has it on sale there too, easy mistake to get wrong one?)
Don't think I've ever bought from GameBillet but they have 5 star Trust Pilot rating.

That's me too. I have a pretty good feeling that the base game + all DLC will be like $30 buck s during the Christmas sales.
Violence, naked force, has settled more issues in history than any other factor, and the contrary opinion is wishfull thinking at its worst. Breeds that forget this basic truth have always paid for it with their lives and freedoms.

Excellent, I'll most likely pick this up on Gog, regardless of the negative reviews of it on Bluesnews. I must see for myself!

It's not a bad game at all but it's very front loaded content-wise and a bit shallow on gameplay systems. They kind of lull you in expecting a Fallout style game but it's a lot lighter than that. I had a decent time but it quickly becomes rote and you get godlike way too quickly. The dialogue is still vintage Obsidian but they went a little too zany with corporatocracy in space. I would give it a 7/10, it's solid but unremarkable.

Excellent summary that I agree with.

Also quite short. I remember finishing it and going no way... I replayed it quickly afterwards to see if I missed anything and i was shocked I didn't. Was very fun, just ended too quickly.

A little way, way late lol.

I imagine most people got their fill with the Xbox Games Pass for PC for a dollar. I couldn't even stand to beat it, myself.
