Some pretty good yuks in this thread, so I guess it's time for ol' uncle buzzkill to remind people of some basics:
1) 8 years of development, they still have a half-decade buffer to become one of the longest dev cycles ever.
2) Devs don't require higher CPU specs, so people don't buy better CPUs, so devs say: "look at the steam survey! we only need to target a 2500k!". And we have a backwards-compatible future gaming hellscape that we cannot escape from where the target system is still a mid-tier laptop CPU from 2013.NOW HEAR THIS.
For your transgressions you shall be labeled a shill, called an idiot and anytime you mention facts or disagree with a tribe member you will henceforth be known as a troll. The best you can hope for is that the labels won't haunt your offspring. -RedEye9
