Boundary Ray Tracing Benchmark

Developer Surgical Scalpels and publisher Huya announce the release of the promised ray tracing benchmark test for Boundary, their zero-gravity shooter that's coming soon to Steam. You can pick this up from the Surgical Scalpels Website. Here's word:
Boundary, the exciting new sci-fi multiplayer FPS from Chinese developer Surgical Scalpels and Chinese publisher Huya recently revealed the technology they are using to bring more realism to their zero-gravity shooter. The latest raytracing technology enables players to see the future of raytracing technology in today’s games and the added level of detail possible.

With the team’s aspirations to provide the best in-game resolution and visual perception in an environment where physics, lighting and surface reflections require different texture effects, developer Surgical Scalpels has embraced the power of real-time ray tracing to bring a more ‘visual edge’ to Boundary.

Most people don't care about bots in multiplayer games I know. For those who are wondering if it will have bots the answer is "no". They do hint at maybe something, somewhere down the line, but it is all very uncommitted.

I still play Shattered Horizon with the bots just to mellow out sometimes. A great game.

I have a 2080 Ti and this benchmark just crashes to the desktop for me once I select start from the menu. Nice.

Anyone try the RT benchmark?

I DL'ed it but might be too scared to open.

Random google doc that's too big to be virus-scanned from Chinese developer...

I don't even have any RT-ready hardware, just wanna see the pretty slideshow...

I miss the classical Blue's "where no one can hear you scream" space remark in the description.

DAMN THIS LOOKS HOT

Or whatever the Chinese character for FIRE is lol.

A Ray Traced game where it actually adds significantly to the experience instead of a tacked-on gimmick. Reminds me of that old voxel lighting demo nVidia had with the 1080 of the Lunar Lander from the Apollo missions. The lighting just looks on point. Also game looks pretty rad too, just hope it's not too tactical aka 5v5 one life per round garbage nonsense.
