Zhang just proves the point that the mother zucker realized from day one that:

* Fakebook could be a socially responsible publisher, like print and TV, except the staffing/infrastructure to do so would cut into his profits
* Fakebook would be for everyone, intelligent and not so. The not so's like hysterical racist and other nut job themes, give them what they want, no sense loosing at least half the planet as customers.
* Fakebook may destroy civilization as we know it, but by that time, the mother zucker will have a number of private fully secure and independent islands to live out his life in luxury.

Yup. Not that it's perfect, but it's pretty damn good, and with that proper Star Wars feel. If Disney was smart they would give the producers and writers of Mandalorian a blank check and a free hand with the franchise.

All that cabling is insane. How do they ever keep track of anything? It's a shame it's in that building because that is a beautiful art deco building.

I sure hope Mando S2 is better than S1. It was a good trailer at any rate. Baby Yoda is too cute.

You don’t really have to. As long as the patch panels were labeled correctly at the termination points, you just need to trust that the wire in between is good. Termination reports are then provided with each wire label, patch panel location, wall plate location, and wire quality report.

It’s when there’s a break somewhere in the middle the shit storms occur.

Ah the Internet hotel! For the previous company I worked at in Manhattan, we were right next to one of the hotels pictured on the photographer's website. Which was convenient being a technology company and wanting the fastest Internet possible. We were able to use a dark fiber run in the street between our two buildings to basically piggyback off the backbone of the Internet. I'll never forget at the time in 2008 to get legit 1 GB/sec transfer rates was just mind blowing.

Ah I miss my data center days!

“When she asked the company for support in stopping malicious activities related to politics and elections, she was reportedly told that “human resources are limited” and was threatened to be let go if she continued focusing on civil work. In addition, she usually had to post on Facebook’s employee message board to get her concerns addressed, because going through the proper channels didn’t work. BuzzFeed News says Zhang was ultimately fired this month and refused a $64,000 severance package to be able to write and send the memo to her former colleagues.”
In a perfect world Facebook would be permanently banned from any and all political advertisements and postings.

Until that time we are lucky that people like Zhang exist.
