Call of Duty Cheat Vendor Apologizes (and Closes?) After Lawsuit

A post on Reddit captures a Discord message from CxCheats after the cheat vendor was sued by Activision for offering Call of Duty cheats (thanks PC Gamer). The website and their Discord have since shut down so the message is no longer available, but it offered an apology for the "pain" they've caused:

As some of you may know, Activision Publishing, Inc has filed a lawsuit against CxCheats.net and has made it clear to us that our services violate their Terms of Use. As a result of our lawsuit with Activision, we have agreed to cease development and support for Call of Duty related products or services sold through the site. These products will not be returning to CxCheats in any form. You should also be aware that using third-party tools in Call of Duty may result in suspension or banning of your account by Activision Publishing, Inc or the games developers. We apologize for any pain we've caused to players of Call of Duty.

I know I had a stroke but I think I read that correctly.

That was my bad... To save wear and tear on my tendinitis I've taken to using speech to text translation to transcribe the numerous pictures of text statements that have become so commonplace on Twitter and other places. I just failed to proofread the output carefully enough. Sorry about that.

That’s hilarious. I’ve been using text to speech when I text on my android phone and also when I type on my iPad.
My texts are so bad it’s just a joke between me and my friend.
I tend to think that the Apple product does a better job of translating than Google. But that could also be due to the fact that I’m outside sometimes when texting and it has problems with traffic noise, which is understandable.

- I refer to it as BC, Before Corona, and AD, After Disaster. -
