Out of the Blue

We had a fine old time on our hike yesterday. The trail we originally planned on trying was a no-go, as there was nowhere to park in its exceedingly small parking area. It was also a little hairy, as the dirt road leading to said parking area was only wide enough for a single-car, leading one to ponder the standoff that would ensue if you met with another driver head-on. Presumably someone would have to back up all the way off the road, a daunting enough prospect that we won't try that again. Thankfully there were plenty of other choices in this park, and the trail we settled on was very nice. It looped around two ponds and ran about six miles over pretty tame terrain, which was a pretty good choice for beginners. I think we're on a roll here, so I'm hopeful we'll manage another hike this weekend.

Grohls Ok, but screw stage parents, she is simply not that great or cute, just over produced.

Oh yeah? Let's see your ten year old kid play like that. The girl obviously enjoys what she's doing. I've seen videos of her as far back as 2 years ago and she digs it and has killer groove. Im betting you as a ten year old probably didn't even know how to play chopsticks on the piano.

As for your other ignorant comments: I guess we should go back in time and kick the shit out of Leopold Mozart, for "forcing" his poor kid into music, instead of letting him outside to play in the dirt..../s

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride! - HT

Dave Grohl is a legend. Also that 10 year old girl, plays better than 95% of the drummers I've played with.

Several More Photos Arrive From "Dune."

Man, that movie has some serious actor firepower.

The stillsuits don't look impressive. Hopefully it's just because the photos are well...stills....
