The shockwaves from Ubisoft's sexual harassment scandal continue to reverberate,
as
Gamasutra reports the departure of executive Tommy Francois amid misconduct
allegations. Francois, who served as the company's editorial vice president, was
placed on administrative leave at the
end of june pending an
investigation into the matter. Gamasutra says Ubisoft is declining to specify
whether he resigned or was dismissed.

We know there was at least the cookies that no one told had weed in it, and the top level meetings at strip clubs. That's probably the least extreme of the stuff going on.

I think the reason we are seeing all the firing's is because you had department heads who didn't deal with the situations as they arose.

The real shocking thing about this Ubisoft situation is how many sociopathic executives seem to actually be getting fired over this. I'm sure this level (or worse) of questionable and actual criminal conduct is widespread in corporations, worldwide, and nothing ever happens to 99% of those people.

I worked for CompUSA in the 00's and they had some of the wildest christmas parties I've ever experienced. It wasn't a matter of someone fucking someone new, (married or otherwise) it was how many. How a DUI didn't happen either is a mystery to me.
