Zen 3, here I come!
Right? And with the rumors/leaks of RNDA2 looking like a total beast and potentially equal to if not better than Ampere, I might be doing a complete 180 here on my next build - going from an Intel/Nvidia combo for the last 15 years to a full AMD setup... crazy. Famous last words..
As someone with an all AMD system right now (3700X + 5700XT)...don't. While the hardware may kick total ass on paper, AMD's Radeon drivers on Windows are years behind Nvidia's. If AMD put their Linux driver team on also doing the Windows drivers, I would be less skeptical. As it stands, their Windows driver team is like a group of C stringers. Which is truly disappointing.
Excellent point. Thank you.
I'm on the AMD reddit all the time; yeah people aren't happy with their software (understatement), and haven't been for years.
