*sigh*
Sometimes I feel like I'm the only person who can't stand the anime style of animation. And most animated properties that I would be interested in are using anime, which instantly turn me off, and I never actually get to enjoy them.

For a modernized version of Heavy Metal, aka Western made, adult oriented animation, check out the series Love Death and Robots(or something close to that) on Netflix. Some very good animation and storytelling there, some from Blur studios notably, but almost all the episodes were great.
Thanks for the recommendation.

As far as Cyberpunk 2077 anime, sure I'll check it out, why not?

It looks good. I can't help but be slightly less hyped just because it's an FPS. I've got so many damn FPS, played so many FPS, it's like, in the end, just how much more can they do to wow? I'm sure they'll be plenty of details and cool things to do but sometimes I wonder if we're reaching the limit of how exciting an FPS can be? I'm not sure.
Call me bitter but I'm hoping for a Witcher 4 next, lol. In all of it's 3rd person glory.

I could not be any less underwhelmed by a Cyberpunk 2077 anime.
The game trailer doesn't really show off anything new that wasn't either show previously or could be inferred from previous trailers.
