I feel this sentiment in my soul Ant. As they say, aging isn't for wimps.

Played that when it came out. Whole different playstyle, but still enjoyable. Pretty sure if I won the lotto, I'd just work my way back on games I enjoy from now till the early 90's. So many games, yet ADULT. MUST ADULT.
Are you kidding? Being able to call legitimately call people young whipper snappers is what I've been aging for!
Get off my lawn! Nah, just no time and energy for fun stuff like gaming. Health issues, etc. Blah.

I should try again. I didn't like EOB3 on my IBM PS/2 model 286 10 Mhz PC back then. I think because I hated turn based. Maybe I will like it now since I am slow and like turn based.

Only reason I played Grimrock.. was because it was the closest I've gotten to Stonekeep.

Beat the first two back in highschool (93/94). I really wish they'd make a dungeon crawler like that again. I tried the two Grimrock games, beat them, and liked them, but they had no real story or suspense. The beauty about EOB2, especially, was that there was suspense and mystery and seeing the last boss' 2nd form...that was a big deal then.
I never felt that kind of connection with grimrock.
